Wanted: Socket 939 motherboard

I’m looking for a s939 (AMD) motherboard to put together a mini server system for pretty much all my work (SlimDX, SlimTune, AR Labs). I have all the other pieces, it’s just the mobo I’m missing. If someone is willing to send me an old but working one — preferably micro ATX — they’re not using, that would be amazing. I will pay shipping.

I don’t want to really push anyone into gutting a working system, though. If you can include a processor that would be great, because I’m not sure if the one I have works. 2 sticks of memory would be helpful too — I’ve got two but why stop there?

Let me know if you guys have anything lying around.

  1. Ironic… I was just cleaning out my basement and found a couple of spare boards. No socket 939’s, but I did find the following:

    Abit-nf7 – socket 462
    gigabyte ga-7S748 – socket 462
    msi k8t-neo – socket 754

    No processors, no ram.
They might be too old, but let me know if any of these would help out.

    • Thanks but I think I’ll pass…amongst other things, I’m hoping to pick up a machine with hardware virtualization support.

  2. I have an old socket 939 motherboard. It is an Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe. I’ll even include the processor and RAM (although I would have to look up what both are).

I left a comment stating this yesterday, but I’m not seeing it now, thus my reposting.

    • Relax bud, comments are moderated and sometimes it takes me a little time to get around to it :)

I may or may not take you up on it, I’ll figure out after GDC. Thanks for letting me know though.
